Josh Smith added 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals, while Joe Johnson contributed 18 points in the win. "I was very pleased tonight," said Hawks head coach Mike Woodson. "We established ourselves early. Our defense was solid. (Horford) was smooth tonight, and the supporting cast played well. It was a team effort." Jamal Crawford provided 12 points in a reserve role for Atlanta, which shot 54.4 percent from the field. The Suns have dominated Atlanta in the desert recently, winning 14 of their last 16 home games against the Hawks, who happen to be shooting for a third consecutive road win for the first time this season.
